Shopfloor & MES Engineer

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience: 2+ years of software development experience (entry-level considered for junior roles); typical range 2-4 years relevant experience
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C++); familiarity with web technologies, databases, and cloud platforms
• Practices: Understanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications for manufacturing execution systems (MES) and shopfloor solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that meet production requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making for scalable solutions
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies relevant to manufacturing IT
• Support and troubleshoot production systems when required, including on-site in manufacturing environment
