Role Description

Dataware Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect Technical Lead for a full-time, on-site position located in Petaling Jaya. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of software architecture and solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing software projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to design patterns and principles, collaborating with development teams, and optimizing solutions for scalability and performance. The role also includes mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends to drive technical excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficiency in Software Architecture, with at least 8 years of experience in architecting, designing and developing software applications and solutions using Java, open-source tools, SOA and native cloud technology.
• Extensive experience in Software Development, encompassing end-to-end development lifecycle expertise.
• Strong skills in Software Design and a deep understanding of Design Patterns.
• Advanced Programming knowledge in Java, Spring Boot, NextJS, TailwindCSS. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Use DevOps methodology to deploy applications to a Kubernetes cluster, and CI/CD processes for smooth and efficient deployments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
• Review the quality of developers’ coding to be in line with industry standard practices. Hands-on experience with ISO and CMMi Level 3 and best practices is an advantage.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science and software engineering (master’s degree is a plus).
• Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software architecture and development.
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive new initiatives.
• Ability to work independently, lead a developer team, and adhere to deadlines.
